Carrot roll with dill

The original recipe for a cold snack at the festive table.

carrots — 500 g
Butter — 50 g
yolks — 4 pcs.

Carrot roll with dill

dill — 50 g
garlic — 1 clove
cream or curd cheese — 180 g
salt, ground black pepper — to taste
Carrots thoroughly wash, peel and grate on a large grater. In a frying pan, dissolve butter, put carrots and, stirring, lightly fry it. Put into a bowl and allow to cool slightly.

Heat the oven to 180 °. Add yolks to the cooled carrots, add salt and mix. Put on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, and smoothed. Bake for 15 minutes. Cover the resulting layer with a damp towel and allow to cool.

For filling, dill should be washed, well dried and finely chopped. Peel the garlic and pass through the press. Combine it with dill and cheese.

The resulting filling is spread over the surface of the carrot cake, carefully folded with rolls, wrapped in a food film and put into the refrigerator for 1 hour. Before serving, cut the rolls large.
