Cherry strudel

Strudel can be baked with almost any berries. Ground crackers in the recipe can be replaced with a crumb of cookies.

Ingredients for the dough:

flour-250 g,
vegetable oil-50 ml,
salt-1 pinch.
Ingredients for the filling:

Cherry strudel

cherry (fresh or frozen) — 500 g,
sugar-100 g,
vanilla sugar-1 tsp,
butter-50 g,
ground crackers-3-4 tablespoons.
How to cook strudel with cherries:

For the filling, defrost the cherry and put it in a colander to glass the excess liquid. If you use fresh cherries, remove the seeds and fill with sugar. Wait until the cherry juice and drain it.

Sift the flour with salt, add the oil and, gradually adding water, knead the soft dough. Knead the dough well until it stops sticking to your hands. Then cover with a towel and leave for 30-40 minutes. Roll out the dough as thin as possible, and then stretch with your hands. Put the dough on a large towel. Ground crackers fry in butter, and then mix with plain and vanilla sugar. Evenly distribute the crackers with sugar on the surface of the dough, leaving a few centimeters free at the edges. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Place the strudel on a baking sheet covered with baking paper, grease it with melted butter or yolk. Bake until ready, about 30-40 minutes.
