Lamb with quince

 

Quince is a good Supplement to meat dishes. It can be baked or stewed with meat, and then served as a side dish.

Ingredients:

lamb leg — 1 PC – ,
garlic-5-6 cloves,
quince-2-3 PCs – ,

Lamb with quince

vegetable oil-3 tablespoons,
rosemary-3-4 sprigs,
salt and pepper to taste.

How to cook lamb with quince:

Prepare the leg of lamb-wash it under running water, dry, cut off excess fat. Garlic is clean and skip through the press. Rosemary RUB in a mortar and add to garlic together with vegetable oil. Salt and pepper the lamb leg, carefully RUB with garlic mixture. Wrap your foot in foil and put it in the fridge overnight for marinating.

Remove the meat from the refrigerator 1 hour before cooking. Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Slice the quince thinly, unfold the foil, add the quince to the meat and wrap it again carefully. Bake the lamb for 30 minutes, then reduce the heat to 160 degrees and bake until ready, about 1 hour. Remove the finished meat from the oven and leave in the foil for another 15-20 minutes, then turn the foil, transfer the quince and meat to the dish. Slice the lamb thinly and serve.
