Pork with apples and cream

 

Ingredients for 4-6 servings:
pork 700-800 grams
large Apple with sourness 2-3 PCs.
small onion 1 PC.
chicken broth 225 ml.

Pork with apples and cream

Calvados or brandy 60 ml.
fat cream 125 ml.
a pinch of dry thyme (or a sprig of fresh)
salt & pepper to taste

Preparation recipe:
Pork cut into small pieces, fry in vegetable oil on high heat until Golden brown.
Remove the meat on a plate.
In the same pan put finely chopped onions, fry for a couple of minutes, then pour brandy and simmer until the liquid evaporates. Apples are cleaned from the skin, remove the cores and cut into pieces. Add to the pan to the onion. In the pan return the meat, add apples, broth, thyme. Bring to a boil over high heat, reduce the flame to a minimum and simmer under a closed lid 30-40 minutes until the meat is soft.
Meat and apples lay on plates. The fire under the pan with the remaining sauce increase to the maximum and boil for 5-6 minutes. Then add the cream, bring to a boil again and boil for another 3 minutes. Before serving, pour the meat sauce and decorate with herbs.
